Iron(II) sulfate heptahydrate a by-product of titanium white production by the sulfate process, containing iron(II) sulfate heptahydrate as the main component. The raw material is a solid with a light green colour, used in horticulture; it supplies the soil with sulfur and iron, which regulates its pH. The raw material supplements iron deficiencies in plants and prevents diseases. Iron sulfate is mainly used for eliminating moss in lawns; it can be spread dry or dissolved in water. Not recommended for use on paving stones, as it leaves brown stains.
